HiTZ (Basque Center for Language Technology) welcomes applications to individual research grants Marie Skłodowska-Curie (MSCA) - Postdoctoral Fellowships call. The application deadline is 11th of September 2024.

HiTZ, as host institution, welcomes applications for European Postdoctoral Fellowships on any topic related with Natural Language and Speech Processing: "European Postdoctoral Fellowships are open to researchers of any nationality who wish to engage in R&I projects by either coming to Europe from any country in the world or moving within Europe. The standard duration of these fellowships must be between 12 and 24 months."

HiTZ is a leader in research in Spain and holds a National Research Award in Computer Science and one of the 15 fellows that the main research association in the area (Association for Computational Linguistics) has in Europe, as well as the best PhD thesis award in Artificial Intelligence in Europe (EurAI 2020). Furthermore, some of our PhD alumni have founded influential AI startup Reka AI and are working on other successful AI companies such as Cohere.

Requirements:

(i) may be of any nationality, but must hold a PhD (at the time of application); 

(ii) must have a maximum of eight years experience in research, from the date of the award of their PhD degree (unless this experience has been interrupted due to any of the reasons described in the Programme regulations); 

(iii) cannot have resided in Spain (host country) for more than 12 months (in the period of 36 months preceding the application deadline).
