The Ixa research group is a multidisciplinary group with more than 25 years of experience, currently made up of 33 computer scientists, 13 linguists and 3 research support technicians. The professors in the group belong to 6 university departments: Languages and Computer Systems, Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence, Computer Architecture, Electricity and Electronics, Basque Language and Communication and Language and Literature Didactics.

The Aholab Signal Processing Laboratory research group is a group of 11 professionals from the Telecommunication Engineering and Communications Engineering departments. Aholab is a reference group in the development of speech technologies for Basque with more than 20 years of experience.
